So, there are migrants now leaving the Windy City going back to their south of the border home lands due to lack of housing, jobs, etc. Apparently the "Land of Opportunity" is not so ripe for the pursuit of happiness. So much for the left being the party of love and tolerance I guess. I actually feel bad for most of these people who thought they could come here for a better life for themselves and their families. Nope, I don't agree with the illegality of it, BUT there have been those in this country actively encouraging that while discouraging building a wall and having a narrow number of checkpoints for those from elsewhere to filter through so I have a tough time laying all the blame on the ones who just want a better life. The ones we need to run out of town on a rail are the ones who have wholeheartedly supported this massive influx of immigrants who didn't actually want to be personally burdened or involved with any of what is necessary for their wellbeing beyond spending money we don't have while taking more from those who are working here. https://www.foxnews.com/media/chicago-migrants-return-venezuela-winter-nothing-herehttps://nypost.com/2023/11/13/news/some-migrants-so-fed-up-with-us-already-heading-back-home/https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...migrants-fleeing-Venezuela-shelters.html

If they want a better life then they need to build a better life in their country by doing like our forefathers did and stand up to the oppressors instead of running across the border. There’s going to be bloodshed either way and better on their side of the border than ours. The worst part is all of the other nationalities that have come across since our spineless president will not close the borders. I don’t feel sorry for any of the people that came here illegally and I don’t feel sorry for the sanctuary cities. They voted for it and got what they deserved besides the illegals are a bunch of thieves.
Now all of the border states need to treat the illegals like the sanctuary cities are. Come here legally and there’s no problem.

Can you imagine their surprise when they figure out what a disappointment it is living in most cities in the US.

I have a friend from Venezuela who emigrated here legally decades ago. I asked him why don’t those people fight back and revolt against the government. Guess what he said? The first thing the dictator did was to confiscate their guns so they couldn’t fight back. Sound familiar? True. But we got all that and still do nothing.

at least, years back. The journey was kind of a culling process. We can use people that will do whatever it takes to survive and made the journey. Now all they gotta do is walk a mile or two. Watch some of those videos of them marching this way. Fat, clean clothes, charged cell phones. Now a days we're getting the weak ones that are useless.
For without victory, there is no survival

Can you imagine their surprise when they figure out what a disappointment it is living in most cities in the US. Anyone that travels around the world can attest that even with as bad as we feel that America has gotten, it is still that shining golden city on the hill to almost everyone else. Americans would not last a day in most of the favelas and barrios that they are coming from in central and south America. We should secure our borders with our military and nobody gets in without going through the proper points of entry, processes, vetting, and proper channels. We're no longer going to chase those of you sneaking across, around the desert. If you cross or attempt to cross at a non-sanctioned border crossing you are subject to be shot on sight. Anyone here illegally should be rounded up and expelled from the country. Fact is those people knowingly broke the law coming here illegally and continued to break the law by staying. Those that are being expelled can, if they want, go through expedited proper processes and apply to come back and for citizenship. If you've committed any sort of crime or infraction while here, sorry but youre toast. We got enough US citizens that are criminals as it is. We dont have the money to be able to afford to deal with all the rest of the world's problems and they certainly are not sending America their best and brightest. Illegal immigration has probably costed the US $10 trillion over the last 10-15 yrs. Money we dont have. It's got to stop and unfortunately, the only way to do it is with a zero tolerance policy. Follow the law and rules and come here legally, or get gone.

Those people were tricked, manipulated, and exploited, into coming here. They really did not want to leave their homes to begin with. Many of them were flat out paid to come here just to take up space and make things difficult. In the middle of those masses were a lot of drugs and bad actors (cartel members, pimps and traffickers, and terrorists) who have no intention of going back but are here to do their job.

I know this sounds cruel. But Peasants are always gonna be peasants. Warriors will always be warriors and leaders will always lead.
It's human nature and it will always be that way. You'd better better yourself, because nobody else will do it for you.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.
