nomercy OP 10 point Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 3,306 Autuaga County	My 9 yr old and youngest has been bent on killing a buck. She said the first had to be a buck like her older siblings “but bigger”. Well last year closed with no luck. This year we all went to Clarke county as we normally do for youth weekend. We had a blast with family but the deer hunting was rough. I sat with baby girl and we never saw a deer. My oldest daughter missed a small 7pt so that was a gut punch. As we headed home this morning my youngest says very enthusiastically says she’ll be hunting at the house this evening. Well, it shaped up like a great evening so there we go. Had to go back for wasp spray to clear a big ole nest before the first use of the year. We saw 3 does and then a very suspect spike. She was giving into temptation after a whole season of frustration. I told her to be patient. As I made the announcement that it was about time to go eat supper she says “wait Daady there’s another one. Sure enough I could see the deer but it was getting late. I raised the binos and told her it was a buck. She says how big? I say big enough. After a few back and forths on conformation of the right deer she’s says she’s got it. She pulled the trigger and almost immediately screams “I got It!!” And she did. Wow what a night!! Bro and sis were happy to bring the four wheeler and celebrate!! Don't blame me for your bad decision-
