$300k for a 23ft center console and we’re the ones going to extremes? That’s laughable at best. Get that down to $100k and maybe they would have a legitimate dog in the hunt.

Gonna suck when it runs out of batteries 70 miles offshore.

Also, if you think salt water is bad on iron and steel, you should see what it does to lithium. Most of the World's lithium is actually dissolved in sea water. Elon Musk and others are working on ways to extract lithium from seawater in a cost effective way.

It doesn't look like a fishing boat? I don't see why all the negative? It probably has a place in the market.

Keep it charged just like you have to keep gas in a combustion motor.

Hell my pro xs blew up 3 weeks ago running down the middle of the lake at 55 mph. No warning, 2 holes in the block.

It's a boat, they will all leave you stranded at some point and they are all money pits.

Agree 100%

Boats make more sense in the EV market to me than cars

This is a market that will have a cult following at some point, and I'm going to do my best to be involved in it. I don't want one, but I can't help but see the business side of this. Mercury is building electric outboards already. I can almost guarantee that some of these small reservoirs with low hp ratings will go electric when technology catches up.

Just one of many questions, but how will these batteries hold up when they are not used for 4-6 months at a time.

Just imagine a surface drive EV motor that is quiet. That’d be a heck of a duck boat option.

I can say for certain that I’ll die before I own anything resembling that.
