nope ,,,, hydrogen powered cars is the future . this electric BS is nothing but about control It's a shame that we cant get more investment in hydrogen power especially with it being made from the most abundant resource on the planet and the emissions are oxygen and water Seems that the clean energy crowd would be all over this but then its really not about clean energy now is it ? I know you can’t give the Toyota Mira away. Even Toyota doesn’t want them back. The hydrogen went from about $6-8 a unit to $30-35 a unit and it takes several units to fill it up. I think like 6-8. Not only that the fueling stations are few and far between. If hydrogen is the future it’s gotta get more cost effective for the common person. As for the electric truck. We aren’t there yet. The Rivian and the ford lightening are the only two viable electric pickups that I’m aware of right now. I don’t think either is a good replacement for a combustible engine.

Electric motors are more reliable and create more instant torque. They realistically can do everything a combustion engine does and do it better. The problems are the infrastructure, battery replacement costs, and personally they are not anymore “green” than a combustion engine. I am not a fan of them. But it has nothing to do with their capabilities it’s the lies and deception around them. They will never be realistic for widespread use unless and until we embrace nuclear technology. And if the climate change/environmental wackos ever truly caught on to how awful battery manufacturing and recycling is for the environment, the electric vehicle craze would be dead on the vine Most of the electric vehicles are made from petroleum products They seem to forget about that I agree 100% with both of you. With how they are being used and pushed now it’s stupid and I won’t buy one. All I was saying is that electric motors are superior to combustion in my opinion. But yes everything about the way this is being rolled out is stupid

WTH is a real “outdoorsman”? You think you’re trekking into the Kalahari or some chit because you’re hunting at Black Warrior? That’s hilarious. Nope not at all. I'm thinking of someone who goes out west to places where they might be 100 miles from the nearest town and spends 10-14 days out in a tent relying on themselves to be self sufficient while hunting elk, moose or others wild game. That's not the type person I see driving an electric truck. And for many people that have never been to BW.. it's nothing like many of the usual WMAs it's 90,000 acres of thick Hardwood forrest and Pine growth with deep hollers and gravel roads that run through some of it surrounded by an addition 900,000 acres of National Forrest land that is sparsely populated. My point on this was it would be a bad place to need to charge your ride home

I'm not an EV fan but thinking you are gonna get stranded at BWWMA in an EV is silly

Let’s say that you are hunting this remote part and the forecast is calling for rain. But the bottom falls out and the roads are flooded and in bad condition. How does a EV handle that kind of situation? When the vehicle is put in extreme off road conditions does it use more power?

My guess is if you are an EV person and want to hunt remote areas you'll just pack a generator.
