Hey guys, I’ve recently bought a new house and come to realize I have 0 signal inside the house. I suspect the metal roof is to blame because once I go outside I have 3 bars. Anyone have experience using a cell booster? I see they easily range from $100 to$1000… just looking for some input to help understand more of what I’m getting into. And if it is right for me, or which price range / model is right for me

I have a directional Wilson cell booster for our home. It works well. I had someone install it. I think it was around $800 installed. I don’t have any complaints but mine is for “4g or LTE”. I don’t know if it will matter with “5G” coming to market.

I’ve also read that Wilson is the standard that everyone wants.

Thank you for your feedback… I was really hoping this wasn’t going to cost me $800 😂

If you have wifi and a phone that has wifi calling compatibility, you're good to go.

We always had great service in our house until we had a metal roof put on, then no cell service at all. Had a Wilson signal booster installed and now we have great service anywhere in the house. Cost us about $650 as best I remember.

Wilson will def help and yea go with 4g lte. The 3g no longer works. They can be finicky on picking up best signal but work good once u get it right.
