I get the salesman to get the shop to put it on the machine and check / adjust when buying a new vehicle . Wife bought a new Camry in '11 , tires lasted no time at all . Front end was out bad from the factory . Never again. When buying tires , it depends on how they wear and how long the last set lasted .

Would be curious to know, those that say every test of tires, do you change your oil every 3,000? Is the alignment usually substantially out between sets of tires? Change my oil at 5-6000. Normally no it’s not out very much. But my logic is when I’ve spent $1000+ on a set of tires a $1-150 alignment is good insurance.

I do, but I'm rough on my truck at times.
The guy I use won't charge me if it doesn't need it. And there have been multiple times it hasn't needed it.

I’ve always been told to get a front end alignment every time I buy a new set of four tires. I can remember only once being told that I didn’t need an alignment, it was fine. So, do you normally have an alignment to go with a new set of tires, or not? Let’s hear it! Thanks, Robinhedd I look at the wear pattern of the tread. If it seems there is a problem where the inside or outside is wearing out sooner, then yes I would. If not, then no.
