Need help with choosing correct broadheads for my crossbow. Years ago I hunted with an Xbow and I used Grim Reaper mechanical broadheads but haven’t hunted with a Xbow in sometime. Now I bought a new Xbow and looking at mechanical broadheads but learned that some are made specifically for Xbows. My question is if the old grim reaper broadheads were used w/o an issue, why can’t I use a new compound bow Broadhead as long as the xbow doesn’t exceed the manufacturer fps on the Brodhead? Thanks for your input.

I used to use the Grim Reaper broadheads but I had to put dental bands on them to keep them from deploying. Later on I switched to the crossbow Rages with the thicker collar and they worked well.

I bought the NAP Killzone broadheads and on the pack it says 400fps. My Xbow will shoot 370fps. I was just wondering if anyone else has tried this combo and if it works.

Ive had very good success with SEVR broadheads If you like mechanical then check them out They fly exactly like field points
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself The older I get the better I used to be
