Tried customer disservice and figured i will ask the real experts. Account paid, new HD card installed, fresh batteries and gas, aint taking pics. Ive got some yard does im trying to get pics of and have no idea why its not taking pics?

Sending them to your phone part could be your cell card. Had times where mine would stop sending and I would reinstall the cell card and go back to working. Not sure about not taking picture at all though. You pull the SD card and check it? Maybe someone with more knowledge will chime in. I’m definitely no expert

Change the SD card. I had a brand new card and it did the same thing

tactacam used to be very selective on the type of sd cards used. make sure your using what they recommend

Yes. They require a certain class of SD card (I can't remember which class but there is a certain kind). I've heard of people who had problems when not using the correct SD card. The only other trouble I've ever had out of a Tacatacam was it would stop sending pics and when I would go check it the display would have a red light blinking. I take the SD card out and blow in the port and put it back in and then it works just fine.

Tactacam requires a Class 10 U3 with at least 90 MB/s and 16GB or more with the brand name of: Tactacam, Sandisk Extreme, Herd 360 Elite Pro, or Lexar.

I was running a cheaper version of a class 10, it worked fine for a year or so. As the card got older it no longer worked correctly. I found a 2 pack of Sandisk that met the requirements for around $15.

I am not a expert, just had the same problem and literally copied all that from their email to me. I haven't had any issues since I got the new card.

Easiest way to get 100% quick customer service is through the FB page they have. They are quick to msg and help you. Couple things, open the app and then drop down menu, select cameras, and then select the cam ya want and click it, it shows a clock symbol with last check-in
time. If no check-in, I'd guess OFF, loose antenna, or dead batteries. If the signal is weak, it will run the batteries down trying to send pics...

Alls i know is 2 of mine ain't checked in since i was charged $408 dollars the other day.

Funny though the first one i purchased has worked flawless (knock on wood) but I've had issues with the last three. Have 2 that hasn't checked in over 3 days now, gonna ease over this evening to see what problem is...
