What's your preference? Experiences?

Tape.. If equipped with electric windows I have had them react to the slightest resistance . Yep! Me too.
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

The only thing I've seen on the in-channel ones is that if you're in a lot of dust regularly, the tops of the windows get scratched up where they go into the window visor. Ditto on the getting the tape off if you have to replace one.
experience is a freakin' awesome teacher....

We had channel on the Mercedes. It would roll the window all the way up but it would think something was caught in the window and roll back down a few inches every time. I had to roll them up slowly with the switch to get them to stay up. I have the in channel on my 22 F150. Same issue.
