I just had my 76 birthday and can remember turning 56 like it was yesterday. Does that mean 96 will be like tomorrow?

Or the day before.

I'm 62 and I remember my 50th birthday, because Mrs. Irish took me to New Orleans. 50 seems like a long time ago to me.

Here's something to ponder...

Our experience is the only thing we have that allows us to put time in perspective. For instance:

When you are 7 years old a year seems like forever, because a year is huge 1/7th of your entire life experience.
When you are 70 years old a year seems like nothing, because a year is only 1/70th of your entire life experience.

So, in our perception, time moves really slowly when we are young and accelerates as we got older until we finally run completely out of time.

Time is constant, but our perception of it is not.

the older ya get , the faster it flies by. Say it now, get it done now...tomorrow will be ten years down the road.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

When you are very young a day is a large portion of your life, and as you get older a day gets to beva smaller and smaller portion of your life.

So as I told older coworkers when I started my career, an 8 hour day is much longer for me than.gou.

Irishguy best me to it...should read all post before responding.

Irish bet me to it. It’s all about perspective.
