From what I've experienced is the 5.6 V8 is a solid engine and reliable, just the mileage sux in them 13 to 15 mpg. but they do have good power for towing....most of the complaints I hear on the older ones are the exhaust manifold leaks and the window motors going bad.....Other than that they seem to be pretty descent trucks.... I drove an 04, it was 2wd, and yes, the window motors went bad all the time. Including the replacements. I stopped replacing them. I liked that truck. I never really had any major problems with it. Just recently sold it because it was a 3rd vehicle and I wanted something 4WD for hunting.

Had an 06 and it was awesome except for the rear-end having to be replaced several times. They found out the seals couldn’t hold the pressures back and would leak out and burn up. Dana and Nissan finally figured out the issue
I did love that truck but not the mpgs
