I have had 2 of them, and the only issue I’ve ever had was one of the rear calipers got stuck (I had been dog hunting on wet red clay roads and didn’t wash it off).

The 2007 truck I had was leather seats and upgrades. The 2014 I had, had a level kit but was a basic truck.

Trucks both rode well.

Seemed to have good torque/power.

A/c always was cold.

No paint issues, although I did have some fading on the black plastic under the wipers on the ‘07.

IMO best value on a truck in today’s market if you are looking for a 1/2 ton truck AND you plan on keeping. Have proven more dependable than GM’s and Fords at my house. Less expensive than a Toyota but if you trade a lot Toyota might be a better path.

MPG is gonna be around 14.5.

My wife also had a 2019 QX80 that had we not totaled we would still own. Never an issue with it.

They are roomy in the CrewCab version.

Stay away from the diesel.

Buddy at old camp drives them (engineer for Nissan) and the only issue I've heard him talk about was on the 1st generation and it was an exhaust manifold tick they couldn't remedy. He got to drive the first diesel HD off the line for a couple weeks to "let it be seen". Deer ran out in front of him on the way home from camp and totaled it (no parts to fix it with, so it sat in the plant for a year before they crushed it). He was mortified, but it did reveal an issue with the hood latch as the hood immediately folded back over the windshield on contact with the deer...said his second thought after getting the truck stopped was, "oh crap, we gotta fix that latch design!".

experience is a freakin' awesome teacher....

FIL has a 2017 I believe...he likes it and it has a little power as well... he got the basic setup vinyl floors etc.. he has 130k on it.. and he just changed the brake pads at 110k... I would have gone through a few sets by now myself...

2018 Pro4X - no problems. Has the best driving position of all the light pick-ups for me. 4x4 works great. I especially like the 5 yr 100K basic warranty (which I have not had to use). Mileage is 15.5 in combo driving. Rides very good at 85. Very quiet for a truck. I'm disappointed they're discontinuing it.

Mines an 06 big V8 4 wheel drive . I had to replace the transmission around 106000 miles, clearcoat is gone so had the roof and hood repainted ,still runs strong but this year it’s starting to smoke at startup so gonna need a engine job at 165000 but I don’t think I’m going to put anymore money in it and just continue to drive it till it quits. I use it to pull the boat and go to our hunting camp. Other than that it sits in the garage. I’ll look for something else when it decides to give it up.

I had one from the first year. (2004, I think.) It was a good, powerful truck. I traded it off when the wife decided she wanted to get into a travel trailer. Mine did not have the tow package.

My buddy Dennis, who I just went on the motorcycle trip with, has a newer model Pro4X, XD version. He hauls a pretty big 5th wheel camper with his and he loves it. No issues so far.

The diesel version was listed in a top 5 worst trucks video I watched last night on YouTube. The gas version I hear good things about.

From what I've experienced is the 5.6 V8 is a solid engine and reliable, just the mileage sux in them 13 to 15 mpg. but they do have good power for towing....most of the complaints I hear on the older ones are the exhaust manifold leaks and the window motors going bad.....Other than that they seem to be pretty descent trucks....

Did you know that Beer Nutz are over a Dollar...and Deer Nutz are under a Buck...

Well damn, I hadn’t heard they were DC’n the Titan. I have a Frontier and love it, 1st Nissan I’ve owned in many years, 20+. I was planning to get a titan in another couple years since Toyota has started making the Tundra with solid gold parts cause that’s the only way to explain the ridiculous pricing that have now.

Finally deported myself from the peoples republik of Kaliforkistan.
