Has anyone had much luck with the large deer protein/mineral blocks? I want to try some but they are close to $200 each and don't want to buy a bunch if the deer will rarely use them.

How much of an attractant are they compared to corn?

Gotcha. Just looking for something a bit more beneficial, but still have the attracting power.

I bought two of the 200# molasses tubs from TS last year for 60-70.00 each. Hogs are the only thing that ate it. Just a fyi

Seems like blocks that big would be a PIA to move around.

They are not for the feeble. I weight 140 and I’m built like an ant, but I had to use both hands….

The Big&J small blocks are the best thing I’ve found besides corn. Not sure if they come in big blocks it not. The standard size last about a week or two here.
