Wouldn't bother me if they went out of business. Doubt I will ever own a GM or Ford vehicle.

That’s not a good way to get any support from the general public.

They don't care about the public and its reflected in the products.

If the Republicans don't remind people in the 2024 election that Biden is in the Union's pockets and how out of touch the unions are with the common working man and woman, they need to hire new strategy developers. This is a Golden opportunity, just like Student Loan Forgiveness and the other stupid economic crap they come up with.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I take the opposite stance. I hate unions, but they are a large and powerful block of voters in many key states. Republicans need to find a way to resolve the problem in a way that benefits both parties and go out of their way to keep those jobs here. Then present a plan to lower costs and taxes on everything. So they can keep that money. Show how you are better for them than the democrats.

You cannot keep picking just one side on every subject and expect to progress.

There is corporate greed in America. That's not good. There is also a huge disconnect between what employees know about the businesses that they work for, and reality. I would encourage any of you who work for someone else, if you think the business you work for is screwing you on pay..... Start your own business. Secure a client list, buy property, build a facility, pay the insurance, hire a staff. Work 16-18 hours a day, to make sure your customers are taken care of, pay your insurance, and file your quarterly taxes. Make a profit after doing all of that, then pay a large chunk of it to the Federal government. See what's left at the end of the day, after all the work you've done.

Do that for 2 years, then come back here and tell us what you think of your $22 per hour job.

So very true.
I owned my own business for 23 plus years. Had very few employees during that time and found it was better to have contract labor per job.

Most all of my friends are self employed and understand you gotta keep going and growing

Friends that work for others seem to always expect more from the employer.
If I’ve heard well I’m not getting paid any more if I work harder and even if and when one does they’re ostracized and punished. It happens in unions and government jobs, jobs where you’re easily replaced not so much. I’ve seen it and heard it over and over.

Friends talk about their employees and it’s concerning, extremely concerning just how much has changed in the last 3 years. Employees feel they are now owed and do not feel they have to work for it nowadays
