My wife uses some shaving cream called coochy creme that is popular for the ladies no pun intended. I just use some electric trimmers everyonce in awhile so that's about the only advice I have lol

In my 20’s, I would shave in the shower. Always fought sensitive skin and neck breaking out. With age, that all went away. Now in my 50’s, I haven’t done anything special in 20 years. I guess the older you get the more your skin leathers up.

Since I retired from the military I only use an electric razor that I modified to leave a 5:00 shadow.

Single blade razor, a small slim double for under the nose area, hot water before and during (I rinse my blade after each pass, and The Art of Shaving shaving lotion, they have many products but I just use the tub, it takes very little. I also wash my face real well afterward with cold water and wife’s facial cleanser, Clevea or something like that.

I have been dry shaving for years now when I get out of the shower. Something I will say, these new razors for women with the lube strip are some count! Go ahead, take my man card.

Several years back, I read something about rinsing the razor in rubbing alcohol (after shaving, of course). It said that rinsing in just water allows water drops to sit on the blades, causing rust on the microscopic level (even though most blades are SS, they can still rust). Rinsing in alcohol washes the water droplets off and disinfects the blades. I've been rinsing my razors with alcohol ever since, and I've stopped getting razor burn and the razor lasts a lot longer.

I haven't shaved in probably almost 20yrs..not clean shaven.
Once I quit the job that required me to shave, I never used a razor again. I think it's unconstitutional for an employer to make employees shave like that.
Kinda made me feel less than a man or no liberty.

I do keep a bottle of Brute in the bathroom for the wimmens with daddy issues.
When I did have to shave I remember my coworkers using women's razors and women's shaving cream. Hey, it helped!

I’ve had a beard for a few years, but this works for my neck. Shower first or put a hot towel on your face/neck, use Cremo shave cream instead of shaving cream, shave with the grain, and then lotion after. I’ve found a two blade works better for me than a fancy five blade.
