This was my first year as an Alabama hunter. No drawing for me, but it sounds like some of the properties are well managed. Question for the masses; it seemed like I had to apply for the same property about a dozen times to be eligible for all the date windows. Is that the case? Or did I do something wrong?
Wouldn't it be far simpler if you just applied for the method and location once, and if drawn they assign a random date window? Yeah, it’s dumb but it kind of works. I have my son every other weekend so I only chose the weekends I didn’t have him for the hunts. The most annoying part is going back to page 1 after every time you register for a hunt.

How does the dog hunt work? As in, are you expected to bring your own dogs or are there always some there?
Was going to sign up but I ain’t got dogs and wasn’t sure the etiquette on that one. Brother tbh I have no idea hahaha. I just figured I'd roll the dice and apply. I hope I didn't commit a hunting etiquette faux pas.

Most dogs hunters I’ve met have been great people and enjoy running their dogs more than actually shooting the deer so I wouldn’t be surprised if random people show up just to run their dogs for the hunt

Got an email I was selected for a hunt. Can't get logged in through the email to see which hunt. Not showing up on the app either. Keep trying. Their website is super slow with everyone trying to see what the were selected for. I ended up having to look with my computer. Phone wouldn’t do it.

Me either. I got selected for a Dog Deer hunt but it will not load to see where and when it is. Maybe the State will get this fixed shortly.
