Awful…..almost as bad as those “angry eye” grills and extra wide bushwacker flares. Those things are a cancer

I agree. I think designers get high and make new stuff just to see how ugly and bazaar they can make things and people still buy them. It's their vehicle though. If it makes them happy. My dad's one of them. Every time I see him, there's something new on it.

I was actually at the grocery store, but Harbor Freight has it's place.

The problem is most of the ones I see with all that garbage don’t have any actual armor/bumpers, no sliders, no winch, etc. I get that those type folks probably don’t go off road, but even if you’re just buying the stuff for looks, that stuff “looks” cooler than all the plastic chit. And then if you ever do get a wild hair and go off-road, you have the stuff you need

It looks ugly, but the functionality of the front fenders being up and out of the way would do well for flexibility of rock crawling. Maybe it's actually gets used for something more than Mall crawling?? The linkage looks to be more than stock.

Looking at the flared sides with the step built in I bet that thing would be aggravating to git in and out of.

Oh... After looking it all over Mrs. Irish and I both agreed he did some serious off-roading in the thing. And yes the kit looked to be very functional. I think that kit was sold up until the early 2000's. It's called a "Landrunner" kit.

Trying to make it look like a hummer??
I personally prefer a rather unmolested jeep. Slight lift. Slightly larger tires. Minimal alterations. I prefer the classic look. To me, tasteful and slight select improvements make for a much better looking vehicle no matter the brand or purpose.
Because as the vehicle ages, usually all that crap added to it looks like hammered dog $hit.
