I just downloaded Huntstand app onto my phone and setting up a hunting area with the counties GIS property boundary on someone's piece of property is pretty cool. And then I can see where I am walking on said property. So what does the $30 annual subscription give me? Thanks.

It’s worth it to me. You get many more map features. I’ve enjoyed it. Way better imagery than OnX IMO. Thanks, but what do I get with it? Much appreciative.

I liked the free version but then I think pro added property owner and monthly satellite images and that’s what I wanted. There was one other feature I forget was added that kinda pushed me to spend the money. But I can’t remember now

You have to pay to be able to see the property lines. You may be using a short trial version that allows you to see lines currently. Im not sure about all the other features but I know it’s different versions of maps and stuff. If you sign up to pay, be aware that they will automatically charge you every year unless you let them know to stop. Thanks for the info. That may be the case because when I set a hunting area, it showed the boundaries that the county tax map showed and provided the owners name. I thought it was cool to see movements by gps overlaying those tax maps.

You may decide not to spend the $30 for the pro.

How accurate is the property line boundaries feature? Is it as accurate as landglide app? Just by walking around the backyard of the house, it seems fairly accurate to me. I haven't used it on a bigger parcel yet. Never used landglide before.

They don't update for years and it's all summertime imagery. Tons more features on HuntStand, but I wish they would add a good imagery/topo layer that's on the standard 20ft contour vs the one they offer that's on I think 20 meter contours. Would be cool if they could do like some of the apps that have the option to go to as low as 10ft contours.

How accurate is the property line boundaries feature? Is it as accurate as landglide app? All of them have the same accuracy as they all piggyback off the online data from tax assessors websites. None are in any better than the other in that regard. But I will caution you those digital lines are often inaccurate regardless of what site or app you use. Some of the lines are spot on. Others are off 25-50’.

How accurate is the property line boundaries feature? Is it as accurate as landglide app? Its +- a few feet but good enough to let you know where you are in relation to property lines unless youre one who want to set up in the tree exactly on the line and then I'd recommend a land survey
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself The older I get the better I used to be
