Is this possible? Obviously I could just run the line into the drain going to the septic tank, but the unit is under my house. I wouldn't want to run the line, without a P trap, to keep sewage gas from being in my crawl space, but I wouldn't have enough head pressure to push water through the P trap.
Somebody 'splain it to me. If I don't do something, before next summer, I might as well plant a bog garden where it runs out from under the house.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

I’m 99% sure my house dumps the condensation into the septic.
Slab on grade, no exterior pipes/dumps dribbling out water thus I assume it’s going to the septic.

I would pipe it outside. A p trap is asking for a blockage. You can bury a 5 Gallon bucket with drain hole drilled in the bottom and sides and fill in around it with gravel.

I would pipe it outside. A p trap is asking for a blockage. You can bury a 5 Gallon bucket with drain hole drilled in the bottom and sides and fill in around it with gravel. This, all day. Make sure you have good slope without a belly sag in the run. Helps reduce algea build up when water flows good.

No way I'd tie it into septic. If it has to go subsurface, do as recommended and put it into a gravel lined hole.
"Cull" is just another four letter word...

Plant water melons they will love it. Hole diggers 6 inch pipe 3-4 ft long. Settle it in fill with gravel. Deeper is better.

Use a condensate pump to pump the water outside That's what I do

Mine terminates right at my back steps. There's no good place to move it to. I tried the bucket and pea gravel. Ground won't perk in that exact spot. It terminates right on top of an old driveway. I guess I coujld extend it out in the yard, and try the bucket again. Currently, I've got a mudhole beside my back steps. I've got to do something. Tying it in to the septic sounds like a bad idea.

Ours is tied into our septic, but our blower is on the bottom floor in the middle of the house.
I built an oversized - P-trap for the Winter (I add water periodically in the Winter), to prevent sewage gases from entering the house. Periodically, I add a chlorine tablet to the drain to keep it clean as well as the air handler.

I wouldnt tie it into septic. I don’t even like the idea of having to worry about sewage gases coming through the ac drain line. Plus, I saw someone tie into their homes drain lines….sewer line stopped up and cause sewage to back into the AC unit. What a mess.
I’d either reroute it to another side of the house or if its hard to get enough fall, I’d install a condensate pump and pump it to somewhere else.
The fool tells me his reasons; the wise man persuades me with my own.

Use a piece of septic tank field line. Cover it with gravel like a septic line. 8 ft piece should hold all the water.
