Just bought a CVA Scout in 350 Legend. Do I need it, no. Just one I did not have and want to experiment with

I Kinda want a ballistic reticle for 350 Legend. I want to stay cheap guy's. I only spent $400 on the rifle. Any suggestions?

Hard to beat the Leupold with the legend ret but I don't know how close it would be bdc rets are usually iffy unless it's like an acog or similar

Keep your booger hooker off the bang switch.

It's a 250 yard gun, so if it were me I'd go with a light, compact low magnification scope. I think the leupold 1.5-4 pig plex is a pretty good value ($250 ish iirc)

Good info from bamashooter.
Leupold has a freedom 350 legend scope with cds turret but that would be more useful and precise but not sure for that cartridge you would need anything to dial or use reticle for hold over.as mentioned the ballistic reticles are not real precise but at short distances might work
You would be better off seeing how high to sight in at 100 yards to get you in kill zone around 250 yards and be done
Hopefully that's not 4" high at 100 though.lol 3" wouldn't be bad but I have no idea on ballistics of those type cartridges

The Leupold freedoms are nice for money also
There's a lot of those Burris fullfields floating around super cheap also
In that price range the one I listed would be tough to beat though.japan scope

The vortex crossfire 2 for the 350 is nice, and the Burris fullfield is nice as well. Both under 200 bucks and hold up to abuse and the clicks track well.

Look at the Burris or vortex with the 350 legend BDC. It’s good glass for the price

I went with a Leupold VX Freedom 3-9x50 CDS.
Now I want to find a good muzzle brake or suppressor for it.
I am excited to see what this little setup will do to a deer.

Good compromise.ive had two of the freedom scopes and been happy with them.down to one now on rifle I gave my son but I was very impressed for the money . lightweight and very clear
Should be pretty brutal thumper.looks good
I wouldn't mind something like that for hunting in rain .get home and sit rifle over heat pump vent to dry out and let it ride

That is a cool setup. I’m sure you’ll kill the snot of them.
