I'll second Bates recommendation and I'll add my little caveat; If they have a cross or a fish or a bible verse etc. attached to their business I'd move in another direction.

I would love to, but my aunt and uncle don't want to jeopardize anything on a court case. Fortunately we have a police department here that loves to arrest people like this for theft. Most departments want to tell you its a civil matter but Greenville PD doesn't mind arresting them instead.

I have no idea if this is the same Kevin Hughes, but I had to help a customer out here in Birmingham several years ago who also got burned by a Kevin Hughes but his profession was not roofing. I am almost certain he got axed from the company as well. It was a horror story for that customer. I hope you get it straight Brian.

This guy is just straight up trash, he has done nothing but tell lies to everyone. It wouldn’t surprise me at all that he lied about being in the hospital. It will catch up to him as the PD here is probably going to charge him tomorrow with Theft by deception. I just hope when he gets in the jail down here the other inmates treat him as good as he has treated others. He can claim he is a Christian, but his life and actions tell me he is not. Leroyb you might want to tell him to get his affairs in order because he doesn’t understand that my aunt will spend 10 times what she paid him to take him down. She has a meeting with the chief and detective in the morning and whatever he gets he will have earned.

BBB is a pay for play trash site. If I pay them, they will do whatever they can to block negative complaints. They've tried to strong arm me into paying to play on multiple occasions, including a fake negative from someone who wasn't even my client. If I paid, it would go away. When they got my attorney's letter, it magically disappeared.

I work in the materials distribution side of the roofing industry in Montgomery, I asked around to some roofers and our outside sale guys and nobody has heard of Kevin Hughes or Trinity Roofing.

I hope ya'll get resolution to this. Its a shame the law had to be called but it seems that is the only way to get this done.

Just to update on this. He never showed and never issued a refund. It goes before the grand jury here soon. He has done this to some other people as well. I'll make sure to post the mugshot when he gets to the Butler County jail.
