So check out Bruno shooter supply he has several savages that are single shot competition actions .the single shot competition actions will bring more money and some of the benchrest stocks are pretty expensive not to mention expensive action bedding jobs.this probably isnt a standard savage action if I had to guess probably most likely single shot competition style.the ones he has listed for sale are used but barely most around 100 rounds fired but as mentioned barrels would need to be bore scoped to determine round count/firecracking .also if it is hs precision stock it will bring price down far as benchrest goes
Anyway I'll post pics of some he has for sale for comparison most are around $1900 and more of a entry level benchrest rifle as with any savage action benchrest rifle but I think he currently has several around $1900 all with Krieger barrels maybe slightly more expensive than McGowan but comparable price wise and one around $1100
I would possibly be interested also but I'm not going to try and sell you short but also not exactly what I'm looking for but maybe

Also if he's interested in shooting f class I can tell you of two or possibly three places in Alabama to shoot midrange 600yrds and 1000yrds long range f class matches and one that does 300 yrd matches but it's intricate detailed reloading ammo to start. Those type rifles are tough to sell cause only a select small group are interested but guys on accurate shooter forum buy this stuff up like crazy.its the competition forum Just what I know Also barrels could tell you of neck turn diameter or if they used standard cartridge dimensions Sorry for all the typing.youll be an expert before long trying to help someone.lol
If you need anymore help I don't mind

I can't figure out on this thread how we got from "hey, I've got a Savage target rifle" all the way to it's from Bruno Shooter Supply in AZ. There are about a bazillion Savage rifle builds floating around out here similar to this.
The market for something like this is shrinking down every day to the people who are actual shooters and in this case who would want a Savage. That's a pretty small group. This gun is not worth a lot. But that doesn't mean it isn't worth having. Those are separate.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

It could be anything from factory savage target rifle.they have a benchrest model and f class. Or it could be straight up custom build using savage action as bases. When he started throwing out names like hs precision that probably means it's a build . Heck it could have shouldered barrels and no barrel nut.could be anything I was just trying to help I probably gave way more info than needed but the guy might decide to use the rifle and needs understand what he has
