I shoot a modified choke '97 about once a year. It's a heck of a dove gun.
Used to be a lifeguard, until that blue kid got me fired.

The ybuilt the early '97s with 2 9/16 chambers, but went to 2 3/4 in '31.

I have my late uncle's Sweet Sixteen (IC) and a Rem 870 Wingmaster with IC and Full barrels. The Sweet is a bit finicky about ammo, but they both work. I may have had my best dove harvest with the Sweet about 12-15 years ago in Calera.

My grandfather just recently gave my dad his father's 1930 Sweet 16! It's in great condition for the year and a super awesome family heirloom! We always knew he had it, just never looked up the serials to date it until now.
