I picked up a nice cheap little 870 wingmaster today. The barrel is stamped with a “BA”. Serial is V409446V . It’s a 2 3/4” gun with no choke barrel. I see that “BA” could be any of January of ‘06 or ‘80/81-ish, ‘54, ‘32 . How would one be able to tell the difference? I didn’t think it was an 80 models gun, but also didn’t assume they even made a gun in 06 that didn’t receive chokes.I don’t think its anything older than the 2 time frames mentioned
Edit to add. I meant for this to land in general forum. Now that I’m looking at the gun, I’m sure it’s probably 06.
