m48scout, that is a nice setup for shooting, but that chair needs an upgrade. I will say, that setup for shooting is really something that needs to be in a lot of houses. It folds down out of the way, it looks like it gives great stability when needed too. A lot of youngsters and others, could definitely benefit from that table. We have a few in our club that have trouble making good shots away from the bench.

Get two real shooting bags like an Armageddon Gear Gamechanger Shemedium and a pint sized w/ GetLite fill and place one in the window and one on the top of your chair back turned around backwards. Heavy sand media in the bag is slightly more stable if the bags will be dedicated to a single shooting house but gets heavy transporting to multiple houses. Find a (non-swivel) chair that has a back close to the correct height to support the buttstock of the rifle in shooting position. Turn chair around and sit backyards in it and use your support hand to manipulate the bag underneath the buttstock on top of the chair back. Simple setup and solid as a shooting bench with minimal practice. The cheap Lifetime brand folding chairs from Walmart work well for this method. Like this- https://youtu.be/uFqGVuop_Q4

I like these suggestions I am going to play around with a couple but I'm really liking that fold away shelf idea. You guys get it... this is about me getting steady I need some support on my left side shoulder/elbow to get steady.
This particular stand overlooks 2 separate food plots. The way I typically hunt this stand has been putting the long rang piece in the Deadshot pointing out the window on my left where I can get on the gun quickly. Then my .358 propped up in the opposite corner of the house for shooting into the closer 2nd food plot.
500 yards with a Deadshot sitting in a blind chair is a no-go BTW.
For Shooting House Chairs I have been using Blind Chairs from Rogers Sporting Goods in Libery MO. Not the cheapest but comfortable and affordable when on sale after season.

Another idea I have, but have not used it yet: assuming you are hunting a long straight field or lane where you don't have to maneuver much: put a 3 foot or so cleat on the left and right walls at your desired height (say, 5" below window ledge). Then carefully measure the distance across the shooting house between the walls. Cut a 2x8 or 2x10 to this length. Rest your shelf on the cleats. Now for use, you can push it all the way forward toward the window when entering and exiting the house. When you are all set up, scooch it back toward you to the desired distance where your rifle butt naturally falls on the rear bag to place point of aim just off ground level. If you are worried about sound, cut a strip of carpet and place on top of cleats.
Someone do this and tell me if it works! haha Here’s one last idea which is same as I outlined above, just in the perpendicular direction. Go to the 1:10 mark https://youtu.be/uEQDhby1aqU

Why limit yourself to being inside a shooting house if your target is 500 yards away? (assuming you can dope the wind correctly and you know how your rifle and cartridge will perform at that distance) A deer won't even notice you outside of the house at that range.

I’ve used a Caldwell rail bag with a trigger stick monopod under the buttstock to make some longer pokes. Simple, portable, fairly fast, and effective. A piece of 550 cord tied across the openings works in place of the bag, also.

Well, yea.... I could just go down the lane to right where I am seeing these deer and just hang a bow stand but then try to get them with a Spear.
Problem solved I guess.
This stand is overlooking 2 bean fields out front.. This lane where you can potentially shoot 500 is just a bonus thing.
