It is an annual grass of some type, but I can only see the plants on the seat. The other pics just show as little blue boxes with a question mark.
You need to use something with a residual in with the roundup. Look for a product called Roundup Quickpro Total. It’ll do a good job in this setting. It used to be called Durazone/Esplanade EZ.
If you do the things you need to do when you need to do them then someday you can do the things you want to do when you want to do them.

I was thinking goose or quackgrass, since it looks to be growing upward instead of outward on a single stem. May be young crabgrass with the shallow roots, though.

Crab grass. Tractor supply has a mix that will kill and sterilize for months. Just don’t spray near trees.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

That’s what the large “spot” photos look like. If it was here there would be some Indian Goosegrass mixed in it. It’s in a driveway, just hit it with glyphosate. It’s gonna look just like that again in about 4-5 weeks unless you use a soil sterilizer

Crabgrass. It's coming back from seeds. The roundup is killing it.

Thanks for the responses. I think it is much worse this year with all the rain we have had. I thought the roundup was killing it but it came back thicker afterwards which made me think I wasn't making any progress but I agree it is just new seeds sprouting so will hit with the roundup again since I have a large supply. I will look into the sterilizer option after this summer is done.

Since we are on the subject, what is the best "Long Term" ie: several years fence line sterilizer that I can purchase.

Now that I can see the pictures, I feel pretty sure it is crabgrass. The products I mentioned earlier will do a good job. They also won’t pose a risk to nearby trees or have any runoff issues.
For fence lines, those same ones will do well also, but there are some that are more “harsh”, but many of those will runoff and could kill nearby grass and even trees also.
You won’t get a better PRE herbicide for a fence than Esplanade. Use rate is 7 oz/A, no more than 10 oz in a year. It isn’t cheap

You can dump salt on gravel or anywhere else and nothing will grow there. You can by it in large quanities at the pool supply.stores. a lot of people put it in the plots.at.the cemetery to prevent weeds

I always got bags of salt for our pool at Lowe’s in the water softener section…$7-9/bag instead of $18/bag at the pool section.

I would be afraid the salt would end up in puddles and the the puddle splash would end up eating my truck alive from underneath. No puddles in your drive then maybe no problem.
