What are your thoughts on the Spot Hogg sights? Thought about getting the fast Eddie xl for my new Hoyt Torrex. I wanted to get a sight I could use for Alabama hunting that could also possible double for some elk hunting at longest distances. Give me some pros and cons….

Good sight, solid built. Used mine since about 2004? The Real Deal model.

I haven't checked in a couple years but weight was a concern for some when I was looking. The sights are built strong from what the guys here say. Like the HHA, the sight tapes out of view without looking around the riser.
That's one of the reasons I've stuck with the BG Ascent sights. I like seeing the tape.

I bought a triple stack to try out. I couldn’t stand it and returned it. Seemed like a cheaply built sight without some features I was use to having with my HHA sights. I went back to HHA and never looked back.

I have the fast Eddie double stack, it's a little heavier than some of the other options but built like a tank. I keep it locked down for hunting with the top pin at 20 which makes my second pin 36 yards (may go to a heavier arrow to make it 20 & 30). With my setup I can shoot out to a 100+ yards.
