I thought it was supposed to go to someone who gave info that resulted in an arrest, but if no one provides a credible tip that concludes in an arrest then what is done with those funds?

Why is she not charged with something?

I am sure Hoover PD is chomping at the bit to show that it’s not legal to squander their resources and drag them into nonsense drama. I would bet they are also getting strong pressure to just make it go away.

The DA probably has to put together a full air-tight case with all the various pieces of evidence to show that she planned this out. Not only is it Filing a False Report, but also there are other possible charges because she planned it out with the intent to cause problems, basically a kind of fraud. She was checking to see if she could trigger an Amber Alert the day before.

THE ONLY possible reason I can think of as to why she hasn't been charged is that when she was interviewed the police figured out pretty quick that she was mentally unstable and therefore not fit to stand trial??? But, if Ol' Skinny was in charge... her little behind would be sitting in the jjail house while we rounded up a mental competency group to test her...

I’m surprised Jesse “the Great Extortionist” Jackson didn’t fly into town. While there aren’t any companies he could extort, he’d hit on Carlee herself in a heartbeat. The tight/ revealing clothes she wears would have turned on that old horned dog. Jesse is known to put mistresses on tge payroll and pay hush money to them when he knocks them up. She wasnt on food stamps. She might be soon. Her father has (that may be changed to had soon) a good job in an administrative position at a bank. I would feel bad for her parents but they helped her perpetuate the hoax when its highly likely they knew it was a hoax all along.
