Well, since I somehow got made the commissioner of the league last year, I get the emails for this now. Got an email saying it's going to auto-renew this week. I'm just going to let it go thru, I believe it will automatically email everyone that was in it last year and you can choose to join in again or not. We'll just go from there and add/remove if we need to. If someone else would like to be commissioner or if the original person that gave it to me after last years issues would like to take it back over(I can't remember who it was), just shoot me a PM.

Just for a refresher, below are the usernames. If you know for sure you don't want back in just let me know and I can uncheck your name and you won't get automatically renewed.

My only recommendation is to limit it to 8-10...that seems to be kinda the sweet spot. I wouldn't kick anyone out that's already in if they want to stay in, but if a few don't respond or stay in, I would just let the size decrease. With that said, I'm in.

I will be out this year. Getting off Yahoo completely. Especially since I’m gonna commish an aldeer dynasty league (see my post in this here forum). Username - GameCox.

My suggestion - take the opportunity to get on a new platform. The Yahoo app feels like a dinosaur these days - and everybody plays on their phone anyway.

I prefer Sleeper. That’s where the dynasty league will be.

I’ll add that - if everyone is ok moving to the Sleeper App - I’ll co-commish or commish the redraft and dynasty league. Sleeper makes the commish part pretty easy. I’m just trying to get my stuff on one platform. Up to you/y’all.

I don't really care either way, just need to know what to do with this league. Don't see where I can go turn off the auto-renew setting w/out renewing it first...or I can just choose "Don't Renew", but not sure exactly what that would do...probably means start all over.

That should be fine. I’ll be starting from scratch on Sleeper anyway creating a redraft for us, but it takes about 10 minutes or less. No rush - but if you give me the green light - I’m willing to do it. Invites are easy - I can text them or email.

I’m definitely not trying to mess with what works. It’s just the Yahoo app is cumbersome and limited. It’s still a popular platform but I’m guessing that’s due to historical leagues and the website. But everybody uses apps these days, and there’s better options IMO.

I'm good with whatever. I kinda figure a lot of guys on here are probably like Quailman(and me)...don't really take fantasy that seriously and this is the only league they get in so may not feel like messing with setting up a team in a different platform. That all being said, you make the call 247, just say the word and I will not renew the yahoo league and you can start up a new thread and league for AL Deer league. I have no clue what "dynasty" means in this regard, so I don't really know if that league is a suitable replacement or not or if you want to start a new one.

A dynasty league is where you keep most or all of your team from year to year. To me it’s the least interesting format of fantasy football but to each their own.
