No thread and theres been some dang good games! I fully believe that howdy doodie ex(are we sure now?) barner coach bama had has been throwing games for a while now. Yeah they lost to uf yesterday (on a walk off in extras), but that game wouldn't have been close if howdy was coaching.

Tried to get tickets for Saturday and just couldn’t pay what I was told..

We went Wednesday general admission was $18 i believe its the same for the whole tourney and that was for a session which is 2 games so $9/game. Heck its $5 to get into a little league travel ball/all star game.

Correct, Doc. It was the right call. I love the game within the game. Like football, many times the outcome comes down to just a couple of key plays throughout the course of 9 innings.

The catcher interference call ended up allowing 3 runs to score, and just a couple of innings later, the 2B for Arkansas made an incredible mental play by throwing behind the lead runner at 3rd for LSU. They got the out there, and the next batter hit a deep fly to center, which would have allowed him to tag from 3rd and score. If they hadn’t picked the guy at 3rd, we go into the bottom of 9th tied. Those two plays determined the outcome…and 17K’s by the Tiger offense. 😂

I know watching baseball is like watching paint dry to most, but to me, I love the intricacies of every at bat/pitch/play.

I also like how stars shine brightest on the big stage. That catcher from FL is showing out this week. A couple of those balls he hit still haven’t landed!

100% accurate. And they strike out way too much. Too many outs without putting the ball in play.

Today was very good example of how you lose due to not playing fundamental baseball. I’d love to know how many AB’s they had with runner on 3rd with less than 2 outs and couldn’t get the man home.
