Anyone have or had one? I’m looking at buying one for a few projects here and out at the club.

I’ve played around with one and didn’t like it for how heavy it was. I own a paslode gun that uses batteries and the gas cartridges and it’s about 3 lbs lighter.

The DeWalt trim guns are great. The framing gun not so much. Like W-n-S mentioned, the Paslode gun will run circles around the DeWalt.

Paslode gun is what my good friend runs.
I've used it, though minimally, and it's nice!!

God Bless,

Project Farm tested cordless framing guns a little while back. If you're already heavily invested in the Dewalt system I'm sure it would be fine for most things, but the Milwaukee, Paslode and Ridgid came out on top.

All my gear is DeWalt, so I have the finish and framer. Weight is not bad to me. It's a little awkward at first though getting used to it. I will say this, paslode guns are nice, until they are not. I have several under the barn in not operable condition and to me they are not worth fixing.

But if I wasn't so invested I'd go Milwaukee. I did but the compound miter saw and it's pretty nice to use.

I've had the Milwaukee for 2 years now and only have one good things to say about it. It is a little bit heavy though.

I have a dewalt. It does OK. I am not overly impressed. If you are limp wristed it will jamp up. I have probably put a box or two thru it and it does work, but it can be a pain in the ass sometimes.
