JSU has hosted the last couple, if not few years. I think they've worked it out bc of the close proximity to chocolocco park and the turf playing surface allows for basically unlimited game capacity.

I have a question, because I’m not sure I understand.
Looks like Spanish Fort has to play Oxford in Oxford for the state title. Why would the state title series. It be played at a neutral site?
I’m sure it’s always been this way, I’m just trying to understand it if anyone knows. Games were traditionally in Montgomery regardless of teams, but moved locations recently as others have said.

Looks like UMS Wright is back in the championship as well. Etowah beat them in 2 games. Etowah is the funnest team I've seen play in a long time. They run and bunt like no other team. I'm biased because a kid I love dearly is on the team but man they are fun to watch.

Looks like UMS Wright is back in the championship as well. Etowah beat them in 2 games. Etowah is the funnest team I've seen play in a long time. They run and bunt like no other team. I'm biased because a kid I love dearly is on the team but man they are fun to watch. I called a guy who was working the game as I left work with 2 outs 5-1 in game two. He said he'd have to let me go when the next out was made, and I heard it thru the phone. He did say that Etowah simply played better baseball. I'm going to call him back tomorrow and see if he can give any commentary on the Oxford/Spanish Fort game, especially around the questionable call that was pointed out earlier.
