Wanna see what y’all use. One acre pond. 15ft deep in one end and knee deep on the other. Some structure. Pond is pretty clean as far as vegetation. What’s your best catching baits for this? I’ve some luck on (baby bass) Yum dinger. Some frog hits and a few othe various plastics. Top water action is terrible from what I e seen
Don't blame me for your bad decision-

Small spinner bait or maybe a beadle spin or small rooster tail will catch any fish in there.

Don't give up on top water till you throw a whopper plopper at them.

Finesse worm weight less use like a trick worm. Red shad worm or a fluke mainly use a green color.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

Best thing and funest thing I’ve found in a pond is to use a bream buster pole with a weightless black worm and work the 5’ water to the bank in a Jon boat or kayak. In other words jigger poling. Dang! I haven’t heard of jigger poling in over forty years. My dad loved it.

This is my #1 pond bait with the chartreuse/blk micro pond magic being #2. Doesn’t have to be Boo-Yah obviously, just a small 1/8oz white or mostly white spinnerbait with single chrome Colorado blade x2..............In my lifetime, I've probably caught more fish on a white spinnerbait w/ red eyes than all other baits combined.

I have caught enough bass from small ponds on a Snagless Sally to stall a D9 dozier. I prefer white but a yellow or a yellow and black skirt work well too. You cannot beat an old fashion Texas rigged worm in purple with a fire tail. If the pond is clear of vegetation as you say I have had good luck with a silver and black Rattletrap. Easy to control the depth you run it at in a pond where that can range from 3 feet to 15 feet. If the topwater bite isn't real aggressive and there isn't much surface vegetation I like a Devil Horse. It can be worked as slowly or as aggressively as the situation warrants.
