Maybe Beadle will respond. I think he had some information on that rod.

Rods are very well balanced. The heavy actions I have are comparable to MH in other brands. They feel great in your hand and the sensitivity is above a lot of other brands. I would snatch it up especially if you are getting a deal.

Me and a friend own the company. We do not make a 7XXH in fact we no longer make anything in XXH. They are not an action lite but they are more parabolic and bend through the rod so it feels a little lite at first. You will lose less fish with our rods in my opinion. We are also American made, every rod is tested 21 times before it leaves the plant for defects and quality control.

I swim with a 7'3 XH, regular frog 7'3XH, popping frog on a 7'3 H, Horny toad 7'3 H, buzzbait 7'3 H, Spook 7'3 H. H is a better all around rod than an XH and a XXH was not very popular.

If you get near Pelham stop by and feel some for your self. We also have a 7'2 select series rod that we will release soon that will be awesome for swim jig and popping frogs.

I can’t wait for the chatterbait rod to come available. That rod is amazing and will do well. I was fortunate enough to handle one of the prototypes not long ago and the Lightsey arsenal will have at least two when available. smile

FRIEND has a couple and let me use them for a few minutes. Wasnt overly impressed, but weren t bad rods. Not everyone likes the same thing and maybe i just need to use one more often.

I fish 4 diff rods manufacturers, mostly Kistlers and Ducketts and just started Hammer's in the mix last year. The Hammer rods seem a little softer and take a little while to get used to. I dont seem to pull as many hooks, when fishing treble hooked baits with the hammers, as I do with the others. Backbone seems to start further down the blank than the others, which I think gives the rod a softer feel and provides a little more cushioned give, as a fish surges, thus the small trebles not pulling out.

Try a 7'3 H it is my favorite all around rod and so versatile. We have some specialty rods coming out in the next few weeks that are an entirely new look and feel that some of you guys will like who think our actions are light. They will be called the select series and only introducing two to start with but will introduce several more this year. They are awesome!

I have 40ish Hammers I have bought over the last 8 or so years and I have broken 2 of them one I crushed with a trolling motor stabilizer bar and one I broke with my tail gate. All rods can break but I have been so impressed with the duribility.

Not currently but when we advertise on aldeer we may do it. Still building some inventory so we have not done an ad with Skinny just yet.

They would also make good Christmas presents for the AlDeer community.
Especially a 7’3” H. Just a thought.
