Anyone have a handle of lake conditions? Kids have a tourney Saturday.
Looks like it is a little lower than this time last year (my only time being there before)
I'm assuming decently clear by Saturday since I don't see rain on the forecast.
Thanks!

It's lower from all the pulling they've been doing.
Should be pretty clear by Saturday.
Temps have been higher than normal

We fished a benefit tournament Saturday and it only took 10# with about 50 boats. We caught a lot of fish but all shorts. I fish there every weekend and can tell you it has been horrible. The only advice I can give is keep your foot on the trolling motor and cover a lot of water. Good luck

That’s terrible. That lake used to produce lunkers by the boat loads and people I used to work with lived down there on the weekends in the spring.

Grass, lil Barbour and rood creeks. Hit as many grass points as possible. Fished it 4 days last week.

Looks like you only had one taker on the fish purchase. 😂. Big fish was 5.80 I believe.

T U double F, TUFF. 7 five fish limits out of ~200 boats. We caught handful but only had one measure. Proud of the boys, nonetheless. They fished hard and it was a long day not weighing until 4. How’d everyone else fare?

My boys did a lot better than I expected. They got 3rd with 12.75. We just got lucky it was very tough out there.

zero'd. Hit a stump, had engine issues after. still had idle speed and ended up having to tow another one of our team boats in at 2 and decided to abstain from fishing the last 2 hours.
Last year it was an awesome stop, big fish and lots of them biting. Terrible how bad it was this year.

Hate that for you Possum. That lake is all over the place right now. I’m sure the seasoned ABT guys will find’em next week but it’s nothing like it was in the past.

We ran almost all the way to back of Hatchechubee by end of the day. Power fished all day, maybe should have tried something more finesse. Teammates finished top 5 and he said he went N of Hatchechubee. All 5 they weighed were swim jig fish, which is primarily what we were doing as well.

Was a great trip. Beautiful lake. First time we’ve ever been on it. Looking forward to the next trip.

I was crappie fishing Saturday and Sunday at lakepoint and Sunday was 100 percent better conditions than Saturday. Reckon how many thousands of bass get dropped off at the marina every year. If I bass fished I'd just stay at the mouth of the marina entrance on those 2 cypress trees.

Nah, didn't even sell one...anyway...My guys didn't weigh in a fish either. One of the fellow teams won the whole thing. They told us swim jigs but I have no idea where they were. I know that we stopped not too far from the landing at a tremendous shad spawn and a boat a few hundred yards away was whooping and hollering every 5 minutes until about 7:30...I think it was them. I guess we were on the wrong batch of shad, and they were on the right batch.

I hate it for my boy and his partner. They didn't stop fishing all day. They threw everything in their tackle boxes, at all depths, and in several different places. I felt helpless and hopeless for them. Now on to Neely Henry, and I don't think they will qualify for state even if they win it at Neely Henry.

Ben2 nailed it. Looks like the hammers on the ABT didn't have trouble. 20.63 won, 14.79 took 10th, 10+ to make the top fifty, and 165 with at least 1 fish.

Thats also really low weights for Eufaula so it is really tough.
