Why does one need a silencer to begin with? Saw some guy with a silenced 22 semiauto at the range who thought he was John Wick. He was bragging about how quiet it was but I told him hell a 22 is pretty quiet to begin with plus the range requires ear plugs or muffs anyway so what's the damn point? Want and need are two different things. I should be able to get one at Walmart if I wanted too.

I may need to quietly hunt anything 1/4 mile from starving people. I need to be able to hear without my ears ringing from long term loud noise exposure. I need to exercise my right to keep and bear arms as reinforced by the second amendment to the constitution. You need to worry more about your kit than that of others. When you go to the range leave other people with guns alone and go about your business. Stay in your lane Fudd.
