Does anyone here have AI dash cams in their business vehicle or used in their fleet?

Vantrue S1 on amazon. Can catch them on sale for $150. Small and can mount behind rearview mirror out of the way. Comes with the optional rear window cam to record behind you if you want to install it.

The speed part could help or hurt depending on the situation but if its played on a pc you can adjust it where the speed isnt in sight and video with your phone and share that video clip instead of the "original copy". Since that feature/stamp is a option its not like they would even know if it was there or not.

You can't submit a modified video as evidence if it is used in a court case. Say your going 60 in a 55 and get involved in an accident. The opposing attorney will argue that you are partially responsible because of you exceeding the speed limit. Ive been around 2 accidents where leo used their cell phones to record a played back dash cam video from a 3rd party. Id assume that would be admissable in court . The poacher i prosecuted 3 yrs ago the video i submitted was played on pc and then videod onto my phone into clips to be emailed because original file was too large to send. Those were used in court. Thats the extent ive had with "modified" videos.

If I had business in todays world I’d have one. A few months ago some guys I know that have several businesses, one of the wines had a wreck where someone died. All I can say is thank goodnesss for the video evidence. The person that died was actually at fault. It really shooup but ocinfriemdntheir choice to install car cams in their trucks.
