While operating on the transom cancer on my Lund, I made the wise decision to run any wires that would be needed for the lights I wanted to install. Finished the rod lights this weekend. All that is left are 2 LED light strips, headlights, routing the graphs to their own separate switch, and the network cables. Hopefully a week from this Saturday I get to water test it.

I like the light strip and wish I had went with something like that. I used short led lights that are blindingly bright to the point that when you look away you see spots like from an old flashbulb. It's not fun retying with blue spots everywhere you look. I'll probably swap them out before too long.

The LED light strips are great. With my phone app, I can change color, brightness, strobe, fade, flash, etc. The LED's pictured are set to 100% brightness with white light. I wired them to a navigation switch so one position lights up the blue rod lights and the other position powers the LED strips. I just need to put the boat in the water at night for the final headlight adjustments.

And of course, rain is predicted for this weekend. grin
