On Netflix. Looks like they released all the episodes to this series tonight. Just started it. Anyone else watching?

David shouldn't of called for the cease fire. Strange they didn't use any of the so called live grenades.

Was there any blowback from public after those events took place back then? Or did most folks think they deserved it? It's been a minute, but I remember it not being viewed well by the folks around me.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

Watching! David Koresh was no doubt a wack job but The United States government completely failed in the way they handled the situation at the Mt, Carmel compound IMO. To roll in tanks was screwup #1

The guy that led the FBI special tactics team that was involved in both Ruby Ridge and Waco received an award for his work Lon Horiuchi. He should have been hanged.

He was a nut job but all they had to do was wait until he went to town and they could have picked him up probably without any incident.

Was pretty good & much better than most of their documentaries
The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

David Koresh was a child molester first and foremost. He took children to be his own and had kids by a few.
He could’ve been taken down easily but instead Janet Reno wanted Clinton to show how he as tough in crime. They did have some from the Branch Davidians cult leave after the initial standoff.
There was a documentary on the event and included several member interviews. Some finally understood who Koresh was and some were still enamored with him. He was a charismatic wacko.
To me Ruby Ridge was a totally different scenario and showed the true colors of leadership of the FBI and ATF.

HS Precision also featured the POS in their catalog endorsing the rifle he was using when he shot Vickie Weaver (while she was holding their infant child in her arms)

Just don't ever forget that if your government wants to end you, they will find a way. If they can't bend a law, they will make one up. If they can't control you, they will kill you.
What you do today, you have to sleep with tonight.

I am going to watch it, but I think it will just end up pissing me off. Janet Reno should have gone to jail over that.
Same with Ruby Ridge, that sniper that killed Randy's wife should have been executed on the spot. yeah, i didn't get to finish the first episode last night. Dogs started barking, let one inside and realized it was already past 9pm and figured if I finished the episode I'd be to PO"d to sleep. One thing that stood out in the first episode was "100 live grenades" "they opened up on us with Machine guns" "they opened up on us with the 60 and the 50 cal" but from the footage of the initial assaults there was 20 agents behind 2 cars shooting into the compound. It didn't look like they was taking any fire, mush less a 60 or even a barrage from automictic weapons.
