It was truly unintentional. They sit in this spot all the time and I know to watch for them, plus I rarely drive that fast over the speed limit anyway. I this particular instance, GomerJr had broken the nose piece off his sunglasses, so I was trying to slip the nose piece back on. I wasn't weaving or anything, but admittedly I wasn't paying attention to my speed or watching to see if he was sitting where they always sit.

It was a good teaching moment for my kids about distracted driving

No clue on the amount...I'd just like to throw a good light on a Hsv pd guy that got me as i was getting on the Parkway one saturday or sunday morning taking my son to a baseball game down at John Hunt Park. I wasn't really late, just later than i like to be. Limit is 50 on the parkway and i was pushing 80. Knew he got me and was already pulling into the lane to get off the road. He was pretty fired up until i said i was late to his game from waiting on he and his mother to get in the truck. He stuck his head in and looked at addison in the back seat, said to him "don't follow your dad's example"...told me to slow down and get to the game alive. It was much appreciated.

Well I’m friends with the former Judge, Wayne Williams. His claim to fame was representing Girls Gone Wild when they were sued by some folks in Alabama.

It looks like Rachel Blume may be the current prosecutor, I’ve been in court with her nearly every month this year.

Unfortunately my fee would be more than the ticket. The folks that I represent for speeding tickets really don’t need the points on their license, don’t need it going against their insurance or they have CDL’s.
