I was surprised by the scores, that first beard looks bigger in the pic! I've killed a couple farm birds, they've been eating good all year!! I got a couple more to chase, but I know they are loosing weight, so hopefully the rain holds off a few days and I can get at 'em! All my other places are big woods and I know those turkeys are skinny, running for their lives from bobcats and coyotes!

Got us a few points. Small 2 yr old with one 1/2 spur slick other leg and 9” beard 13.6#s. I came up with a monster score of 36.375. 😂

Well, I should've gone this morning. I've listened to these three gobble on the neighbor's property for weeks! They finally show up, and I'm at my desk.

We may need to send a deputy to do a wellness check after ole Razorsharp. Anybody know him?

I finished up my limit yesterday. I heard two gobbles from the limb at 6:45 & again at 7:02, set up with in 75 yds of the gobbles & heard some fly down. I had a hen & 2 jakes all within 50 yds most of the morning. It felt like a long sit, but it worked out. Longbeard showed up around 9:15, and he died at 9:25. Those “live decoys” were the ticket. That hen only softly purred & scratched in the leaves. I only called a little & kept it soft till she showed up, never called again after I was watching turkeys. If y’all get to go any more I hope you get one! It’s been fun!

I’m done haven’t hunted in two weeks. Me and Stephen should have killed 4 combined and that’s a great season for us lately. Couldn’t get up this morning to go.
