They should fire whoever came up with the new logo The first time I saw it I thought it was a new campaign logo aimed at getting little kids into turkey hunting...

Just seeing that many turkey in one season is really freaking impressive. I don't understand how it is even possible to kill that many. If you have the turkeys its possible. They are extremely dumb critters

Not trying to say what’s right or wrong, I know you know your stuff SG and your opinion was formed based on your time in the woods and seeing what you’ve seen. I’m saying based on my experience it’s just about impossible to kill off all the gobblers on what I consider prime turkey land. I look at a great tract of turkey land like it’s the best bar in any given college town. Imo as long as you can hold the hens and keep the predators in check there will always be gobblers trying to inch their way into that area. On some places I think there are multiple gobblers, though you may hardly ever see or hear them, waiting to take the place of the dominant bird in that particular area. I absolutely think they know when that spot is vacant sometimes within a few hours of killing the bird who’s been ruling the roost. I could be completely wrong and I’m not trying prove anyone else wrong, I’m sure not a biologist or anything more than a fella who spends a lot of time outside. I think turkeys are super competitive and just about have a built in gps in the fact that they know exactly where the hens are and whether or not they should slip through a place like a satellite gob or run in and take over the place. The places I’m talking about can change from year to year, I’ve seen a mediocre at best place get clear cut and all of a sudden the stars align and it’s the place a gobbler has to be. I’m not talking about killing hens or running trotlines on a place, you can kill all of them for generations that way. Either way I hope y’all fellas have a great season, these cold beers have me long winded tonight

Heck yea its possible. I had a buddy that killed n 30s for years - i told him how much that sucked amd he was married to my cousin so i could not turn him in
He was a forester and he had a set up where he could hunt 1000s and 1000s of acers. Heck i use to tag out on 600 in about 10 days. When i was in FL i use to get my 2 n a few days every year. He had a job where he could troll for turkeys until 11:00 Every day and did and not cover 1/4 of his spots - it aint that hard if u got spots and he use to hav 4000 acer tracks he would let rest for a year
Currently i hav a 256 acer crap hole for turkeys - 95% of turkeys hav already left to go to 100s of acres of beautiful hardwoods. I am there winter hang out 🤣 Amd i hav an 80 that poachers keep turkeys run off
Givw me 500 w birds amd i will show u a quick tag out
30s is only impressive to folks that dont know any bettr
Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self We need prayer for our country now more than ever

30s is only impressive to folks that dont know any bettr Ain’t no doubt. Some folks don’t have anywhere else to be or anyone to answer to. I know a fella who sleeps in a hammock and just moves up and down the creek in a pirogue. 365 days a year for decades he can’t come out. All he does is hoard arrow heads and fill croker sacks with beards and spurs. The fella is an absolute river rat dipshyt but he doesn’t care to get laid or have any friends. Has the most beat up Excalibur crossbow you’ll ever lay eyes on
