I may be wrong and it's an optical illusion, but after the second pass one of the prop fins is clearly bent when the feed comes back on (:40sec & :43sec marks), while the others are still straight.

The video clearly shows a prop that is decreasing in rpm. That does not mean that the prop itself is damaged. Maybe it is, I don't know, but if it is, it's not the result of impact with another aircraft. I don't know what the operating rpm of that drone prop is but anyone can plainly see that it is not damaged due to impact. There is not so much as a single discernable knick out of any of those blades whereas they would surely be destroyed, mangled, bent, chipped, something had they been impacted by another aircraft. The prop is not seized, wobbling, missing, no smoke from engine, nothing, it's simply coming to a stop.

If it was impacted, why does the video not show the drone bounce, flinch, lurch, spin out of control? I'm not saying there was no collision, all I'm saying is we are being presented a segment of video as "proof" that a collision occured but there absolutely was no collision in the video they've chosen to show us. You're being shown something and told what to think about it and once you believe what you are told about what you see you will begin to feel a certain way about. This is slight of hand, a magicians trick. Look at it again, what do you actually see? This should be simple, if there was a collision, show the video at the time of impact. The camera will jump at the moment of impact.

I stand corrected. My apologies. Didn't watch all the way to the end because I thought it was over when I got to the funky test screen. Prop is clearly bent, as you would expect from a collision.

I think the pilot was doing a good "spray down" like you can do with a Seadoo or a boat on unsuspecting people on piers or on other watercraft.

I'm guessing the fuel was to cause carb icing, which is a big obstacle for recip engines. Due to Bernoulli law

disregard- Reaper has turbo prop engine

I'm sort of over it. They were screwing with a drone and messed up and hit it.

That's not what I would like to see them doing either, but I'm not wiling to send ground troops into Ukraine over it. This is how bad shait like WWIII can get started and what the United States needs to do is figure out how to walk away from this mess. We are weak right now. Very weak.

You play with fire and you get burned our politicians have sold out our Country. The string of presidents goes like this... Clinton/Bush/Obama. Three turds in a bowl. Lots of rest notches. Started with NAFTA. 1/4 century selling us out to Communists and European Socialists. 1/4 century entrenching liberals into our government bureaucracy. We ALL knew it and we all lived it. So what did we do about it?

Elected Katie Britt who didn't really tell us what she stood for other than the boilerplate memo she got from Mitch and read to us.

You vote these people into office and this is exactly what you should expect. Enjoy watching the United State's decline to being simply one of many global players.

No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

just to add to what I said earlier. If I remember correctly they dump fuel through the turbine to reduce EGT and also if they wanna light the afterburners

Under that scenario, don't you think the "impact" would have been catastrophic and noticeable in the rear facing dash cam? The video doesn't jostle in the slightest = no impact in this video. Also the prop on the drone appears undamaged and nearly stopped. Maybe this was footage of second fuel dump and drone was already disabled and winding down but there is no impact in this video although that is how it is being reported by EVERYONE. Lay your hackles down until we know the truth (if we ever do). I fear we are being sold on WW III. Do we REALLY want that?

Clearly a damaged prop visible in the last 2 seconds of video. It's bent over like a noodle.

I was just about to let you know it is a turbopro so icing isn't an issue.

got it confused with the Predator

ETA. I guess Russian pilot could of assumed it was carb'd and tried to ice it. That's the only thing I can figure.
