Got some clear cut birds I might attempt for youth what's you guys' thoughts on popping one up morning of the hunt?? too risky and might make them suspicious, I can see where he's been strutting recently but there isn't much cover especially for a kid and myself

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

They are not that smart..... just conceal the blind a little bit and by the time they figure it out they should be dead.

Do it. I have a buddy in a wheelchair who hunts them out of his truck, says they don't care and from what I've seen I believe him. Just dont move.

Ground blinds are cheating and should be outlawed

This is what I've learned also.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Teach your child to be still… if he/she moves and spooks a gobbler then that’s how they learn. I wasn’t taught to use blinds and won’t teach my boy to use them. If you want one then just pop it up cause they don’t care

Hell I killed one one time resting the barrel of my shotgun on the side hook of a bulldozer blade that had been driven in and parked in a field the afternoon before. He strutted right up to it just like he owned the thing. If they dont mind a very large yellow bulldozer, they shouldnt mind a pop up blind.

I also killed one leaning over the back tire of a backhoe.

I love em. I pop mine up 10 days after the scratch feed is “gone” from the food plot. Turn my iPad to march madness, pop in my ear pod things and open a cold drink. They will come by eventually and as soon as they get within 90 yards I smoke them with my TSS. Kill 2-3 a year that way
