trying to figure out what the truth is and what is scary salesman talk. looking at custom double hung, low e, argon, vinyl. If you have these how have the held up? diy install or contractor? any problems? thanks.

I used window world about 17 years ago. They were great to deal with and have held up great. Had to have one replaced because the neighbors kid shot it with a BB gun. They came and replaced it no questions asked. The local window guy wanted over $8k to replace with just double pane , I got the double hung, low e , argon filled with grids for just over $7k.
