Hunting club in NW Fayette County on the Lamar County border looking for members for the 2012-2013 season. We have approximately 5,000 acres of land that has been under management for 7 years. We are needing a few members to fill our 20 member quota. Dues are $1,800/yr. We have a 120" buck minimum. Have close to 35 food plots with shooting houses on each field as well as several ladder stands and tripods. Land consist mainly of pine plantations about half of which is 2-3 year old cutovers. Since we starting managing we have harvested 5 bucks that scored between 150"-160" and close to 20 bucks that scored in the 130"-145" range. If interested please email me at tideland1976@yahoo.com.

Sounds like a nice place. I wanted to stay close to home but haven't had much luck.
A couple of questions.
What is the limit on numbers of doe per year, per member or is there one?
Do you allow does to be shot on greenfields?
Ballpark average here, but how many deer would normally be seen on average per stand sit?

I know some guys in bluff. It and blooming grove either connect or are close and both manage well. IMO this is one of the best clubs in north Alabama. If I didn't own and lease some land myself I would be in it. I believe bg has about the same acreage and that's about 10000 acres under a strict management. I don't think anyone would be disappointed in this club.

One of the best clubs in this part of the state for quality and quantity. Also very high acre per hunter ratio. If you are looking for a club with good deer and a lot of land but not a lot of hunters this is it.
If you're gonna be stupid you better be tough.

How many turkey hunters out of that 20, and what is the dues deadline?

Would a turkey only membership be considered at a reduced rate? (with a no guest or family clause, just me)
