If you wanna pay what they cost, A&M Guns off the square in Monroeville has a brand new Dan Wesson Kodiak. It’s factory cerakoted in a bronze finish and has a long slide and 6” bbl (I think). It’s a thing of beauty and I want one badly but I don’t need a $2200 pistol. Glad my son doesn't know this! And I'm not gonna tell him because he wants one 😄
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

I ain’t going back to get you anymore specifics cause I want it badly too. $1500 is better than the $2200 for the other but still would make it the most expensive gun I’ve ever bought by $500. Hope y’all get it. I wanna meet at the range and shoot it if so. I’ll buy you (him) a box of ammo.

I think the Ronin 10mm would be great bang for the buck. I picked up a stainless Garrison 45 a few months back and I’ve been super impressed with how good of a gun it is for the money. I think your right.that new garrison is a real looker I traded my colt cause my citadel Philippines (rock island) was much more accurate and tighter tolerances not to mention the Springfield ronin was far superior , including my Ruger 1911 that's been slightly a let down to my others and the colt far as accuracy and fit and finish.the colt was made about 10-15yrs ago was a disappointment but have a Caspian I built by hand with Wilson combat parts that's my baby though 😁 I'd say skip the smith and Wesson and sig also for one with internal extractor like JMB intended them to be .and extractors are much easier to find for traditional design 1911's.can be tweeked and tuned if you know what your doing.the sigs and smiths are external extractors.not a deal breaker just kind of a purest on some things

[quote=thayerp81]Larry's had a really nice Delta Elite a few days ago when I was in there. I don't recall the price exactly, but I think it was either $1200 or $1400[/quote was it main Larry in Huntsville or Madison? Main Larry's, not Larry's West. It's on my way home, so I'll stop by tonight and get a firm price and maybe sneak a pic if it's still there.

I just stopped by, they still have it there for $1399. It’s in great shape with original box No picture? No sorry, I got distracted by a Smith 586 in the same case, ended up buying it and forgot to snap a photo, haha!
