If you decide to go with a Delta Elite, be sure to get one that already has a beaver tail grip safety. A 10mm 1911 will chew your hand up with the traditional spur type. Also look for one that has Novak style sights or else you’ll be yearning for an upgrade. Those GI sights leave a lot to be desired. Luckily Gundoc was able to fix all my Delta’s shortcomings and it’s an absolute beast now. Upgraded the sights to wide notch Novak rear and gold bead front sight plus the beavertail safety he fit to the pistol is an absolute work of art. Hopefully this pic will show you what I’m talking about. Before/after We’re not dead. We just smell that way. Dayum. - AC870 Yessir! It’s factory cerakoted in a bronze finish and has a long slide and 6” bbl (I think). It’s a thing of beauty and I want one badly but I don’t need a $2200 pistol.
