We are Down Here now…gametime as I’m back on the gun! It’s a different world down here even compared to near Lake Okechobe. Will upload more pictures when I have better service! Birds have been tough as there are a lot of single hens and we have heard very little gobbling but have had to sneak and ambush in the orange groves. I came close to closing us out this am but no cigar. Birds hammered but were bad hemmed up. Saw the strutter later in am strutting with 2 hens at 350 on the neighbors. He was gobbling to me but going away. Lot of birds. My other buddy killed this am. 5 birds in 5 days with 3 in last two days. It hasn’t been easy, we just have been blessed with crazy situations on this trip that ended up with us killing birds!
