My order from Mr. Lonnie Sneed came today! His latest batch of calls sound amazing. Craftsmanship is better than anything I’ve ever had from him before. His call covers look beautiful, absolutely beautiful! He told me the latest wood he acquired for the outlaw hens was something special, and he was not lying. These calls sound wonderful. I believe a 4 year old could run these and kill turkeys with them, they sound THAT good. If you don’t have a call from Lonnie, I would suggest getting you one before it’s too late.

The Outlaw hen (green glass) has a crisp rasp sound that overall is hard to beat. It’s probably my favorite out of that line up. I had one for years that I’ve called a couple dozen birds to the gun with. I bought these for backups. The lonesome hen (oval shaped call) lacks the presence of a sound chamber and is designed to be a close up, soft call. It has that bubbly low volume sound that mimics the soft stuff hens do to a T. It sounds very realistic. I’m not very good with the small square striker he sends with them, so I would recommend his normal purple heart striker with it. I will carry it a lot and I know it will cause the death of many. So if I were to recommend any, it would be those two, the outlaw hen and the lonesome hen.

Mr Lonnie makes some fine calls. That’s quite the haul you got there. Congrats.

Picked up a Hot Hen a couple yrs ago. Had been wanting one for a while and figured Mr Sneed wasn’t getting any younger and I didn’t need to wait too much longer. Looks almost identical to that Raspy Boss and sounds great. Haven’t killed a bird with it yet because I’m a terrible turkey hunter but hoping I luck into one with it in a couple weeks
